The Weekend Wrap – Spring Break edition

Ready. Set. Rain!

Image of red bud tree in SpringThis week was Spring Break for our family. After a previous week of unseasonably warm (80 degrees!) and sunny weather…we have watched it rain all week.

That’s okay. The rains are a sign that Spring is truly here.

I love living in Kansas City where I get to experience all 4 seasons. The feeling of Spring sloughing off all of Winter’s old skin is needed. We need this same type of transition in our lives, businesses and photography. We need to shake off the old, passing things that hold us back. We need to allow new and fresh ideas to be birthed in us.

So, let it rain. Spring is here.

Is Facebook dead?

I have read and heard comments that teens are moving away from Facebook and people in general are experiencing Facebook fatigue. It may be true, but my recent experiences with Facebook tell me it’s still an important tool in your marketing bag.
