my·op·ic
unable or unwilling to act prudently; shortsighted.
It’s a tough balance. Keeping your eyes on the future while living in the present. I realized this week I’ve lived too much in the present in at least one part of my life…my statistics.
I have obsessed over them – checking and re-checking on an hourly basis at times. That’s not good. I need to remember the long-term view. Today doesn’t matter as much as this year (in terms of statistics, at least).
So, I stopped myself cold turkey. You know what I realized. I have a lot more time on my hands when I’m not worrying about that. – another good wake up call for me.
What about you? What are you over-obsessing about? What is cutting into your daily life that isn’t worth the time you are giving it? Stop. Stop it!
Watch this video – it will give you the boost you need to stop it.
